Nindies Summer Jam Discounts 3DS And Wii U eShop Indies In September

20 Nindies, indie games appearing on the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo Wii U, have been announced for 2016 and 2017 in North America, and eight of those titles will appear this September. To help draw more attention to these eShop exclusives, Nintendo has announced a Nindies Summer Jam that will begin September 1, 2016 and end on October 5, 2016. During this period, five highlighted Nindies will be available for 10% off of its normal price for its first week on the eShop and developer videos discussing the games’ creations will be released.

The five Nindies Summer Jam games and their release dates are as follows.

• Axiom Verge (Nintendo Wii U) – September 1, 2016
• Jotun: Valhalla Edition (Nintendo Wii U) – September 8, 2016
• Noitu Love: Devolution (Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS) – September 15, 2016
• Severed (Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS) – September 22, 2016
• Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 (Nintendo 3DS) – September 30, 2016

Severed will be a cross-buy game, giving people who get the handheld version a console copy and vice versa.

Nintendo also confirmed the launch windows for a number of other Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U indie games that will appear in 2016 and early 2017.

• December – Stardew Valley (Nintendo Wii U)
