Ex-SNK artist Tatsuhiko Kanaoka better by his pen name, Falcoon, is working with Q Entertainment to keep the Ninety-Nine Nights franchise going with an action based MMORPG for PCs. Falcoon is in charge of designing monsters and characters for Ninety-Nine Nights Online.

 

Ninety-Nine Nights Online is said to have a fusion of tactics and action. Key gameplay elements such as combos and orb sparks return in the online iteration of Ninety-Nine Nights. New features include player vs. player gameplay and a job system.

 

Something interesting to note is each Ninety-NIne Nights game had a different developer. Kingdom Under Fire: The Heroes studio Phantagram created the game that started the series. Feelplus best known for their work on Lost Odyssey made N3-II. Taiwan based UserJoy Technology is developing Ninety-Nine Nights Online. Q Entertainment and UserJoy previously worked together on Angel Love Online where the two companies created a PlayStation 3 client for the online game.
