Ninety Nine Nights revamped?

New screenshots of Q? Entertainment / Phantagram’s action game Ninety Nine Nights have surfaced. Notably different is the interface from the Tokyo Game Show demo that Microsoft showed off last year. Instead of having a Dynasty Warriors themed interface with life bars on the top of the screen and a mini map in the right hand corner new screenshots show a minimalist interface. Character life bars are on the bottom left corner of the screen and enemy life bars are much smaller. Also absent is the power meter, which charged up when you made successful kills. After the power meter filled up you could go into a trance state where everything slowed down and you could execute a killer combo. The meter was previously under the life bar in the old interface. It’s quite possible that N3 is undergoing some major changes before its Spring release in Japan.
