Nintendo 2DS Price Drops To $79.99 On May 20, 2016

2DS and Nintendo Selects Nintendo has announced a price drop for North American Nintendo 2DS Systems. The sans-3D handhelds used to be $99.99. On May 20, 2016, you’ll be able to buy them for $79.99 each. Previously, $79.99 tended to be the sale price point for the system.

The image Nintendo is using to promote the Nintendo 2DS price drop makes mention of a bundle that includes a digital copy of Mario Kart 7 pre-installed on the handheld. However, there’s another bundle people may want to keep in mind come May 20, 2016. Nintendo’s official website also lists a bundle that includes a pre-installed copy of Yo-kai Watch.

The Nintendo 2DS originally launched back on October 12, 2013, alongside Pokemon X and Y.
