Nintendo 3DS Hits 72 Million Units In Sales, More Software To Come In 2019 And Beyond

In Nintendo’s latest financial results briefing, company president Tatsumi Kimishima shared an update for 3DS sales and plans going forward with new software releases being prepared for 2019 and beyond.   Here’s more from Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima:

Nintendo 3DS boasts a rich lineup of game software, with more than 1,000 titles across a wide variety of genres. Note: This number includes both packaged and download-only software.

In addition to the titles currently on sale, we have announced the coming release of the titles shown here. We are even preparing new software for release in 2019 and beyond. Our plan is to continue maintaining this business by taking advantage of new titles like these.
