There’s a new Nintendo eShop sale games feature in effect. People browsing the storefront will now have an easier time going through its sales. That’s because each listing for a game now also shows how long it will be on sale. This feature is now live in the North American, European, and Japanese eShops. [Thanks, Reddit!]
This notation appears on the game’s icon in ever section of the eShop. If it is discounted, then in the same box under the game’s official art it will say how many days, hours, or minutes are left before the offer expires. The text is normally grey, but deals with less than two days left will appear in red.
All Nintendo eShop sale games also display this additional information in searches. In this case, the amount of time left on a deal will appear directly under the percentage off.
This isn’t the only major eShop adjustment from Nintendo. The company announced in Japan that it is now possible to cancel pre-orders people have placed. Also, in case it has been a while, people searching for discounted games do have the ability to filter through them.
You can see this new Nintendo eShop sale game change in effect on the Nintendo Switch.
