Nintendo is opening a “Nintendo Check-In” space at Narita International Airport in Tokyo on June 29, 2019. Travelers at the airport will get to check out five games that are currently available on the Switch.
The Nintendo Check In area will be located at the Visitor Service Center of Terminal 1 at Narita. On June 29 and June 30, Mario will make an appearance so visitors and travelers will get to take commemorative photographs for the first couple days along with a special uchiwa fan as a bonus.
While Mario was left out of the official lineup of spokescharacters for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, visitors can expect to see their fair share of Nintendo mascots when they visit Japan.
The Nintendo Check-In hours of operation are 10:30am to 5:30pm JST.
A Nintendo Check-In space will also open at the Kansai International Airport in Osaka with the Mario photography sessions on July 27 through July 28, 2019.
