Nintendo of Europe announced they are bringing this game over as Nintendo Pocket Football Club. The localized version has the same retro graphics, but instead of different prefectures in Japan there are different European countries. You can customize your team by creating a flag and picking uniform colors. Since this is a soccer management game you can recruit new players and choose where they stand in your team’s formation. Players don’t actually control characters when a soccer game starts, you sit back and see if your planning was effective or not. The game supports online multiplayer throughout Europe, so it looks like it won’t be compatible with the Japanese version.

Nintendo Pocket Football Club will be released next year as an eShop download.
