Nintendo Music Is Now Available on PC, Tablets, and Cars

Nintendo has released a major update for Nintendo Music. The music app used to be accessible only on smartphones. With this new update, Nintendo Music is now also available to access via tablets, PC, and car systems.

The company has launched a web version of Nintendo Music that is also accessible via PC and tablets. The site supports 16 language regions and public access of the front page is also available, although users will have to sign in with a Nintendo Switch Online-subscribed account to access the actual tracks.

Nintendo Music is now also compatible with car systems that run on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The app will have an interface specifically tailored for car monitor screens, and it can also support voice-based inputs.

Nintendo also announced on the same day that it has started gradually adding tracks from Mario Kart World to the app. It will add the Free Roam tracks in subsequent updates. Earlier in May 2026, the company also added tracks from the Switch 2 release of Star Fox.

Nintendo Music is readily available worldwide on PC, iOS, and Android devices. A Nintendo Account with a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription is still required to access this app, no matter where it is accessed from.
