Nintendo announced there will be a special launch event for the next Final Fantasy VII part at its New York store, as it will host an autograph session with FFVII Remake Intergrade Director Naoki Hamaguchi. That will take place at the 10 Rockefeller Plaza location in New York City between 5pm-7pm ET on January 22, 2026. In order to attend, someone must have a Nintendo Account and sign up for a Warp Pipe Pass.

Registration for the Warp Pipe Pass for the Nintendo New York store FFVII Remake Intergrade event begins at 3pm PT/6pm ET on January 16, 2026. Someone needs to log into the official site and visit the designated page for it. People can sign up while tickets last, but the company did note that period could remain open until 4pm PT/7pm ET on January 22, 2026. If you do get a ticket, it will be first-come, first-serve to meet and get an autograph from Hamaguchi.

Nintendo also clarified how the process will go online. If you show up for the FFVII Remake Intergrade Naoki Hamaguchi autograph session, you can have either the game or poster signed. Nintendo will have these there. The Warp Pipe Pass ticket also applies for a one-hour slot. So you come in for that period, wait your turn, and get the signature. The company didn’t note if demos or other special events will take place beyond the signing.

Before buying FFVII Remake Intergrade on the Switch 2, someone can try it. Square Enix released a demo in December 2025. It’s available to try there and on the Xbox Series X ahead of the January 2026 launch.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will appear on the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X on January 22, 2026, and the PS5 and PC versions of FFVII will get a Streamlined Progression patch that same day. A demo is available. The game originally appeared on the PS4, which isn’t getting this latest patch.
