Those wanting to stream shows on their Nintendo Switch will have a way to watch anime on their systems. At its C2E2 panel, Funimation announced it is investigating a FunimationNow app for the console. A launch window was not announced. On Facebook, Funimation said it has nothing to announce yet, but is investigating the possibility. Thanks, RogersBase and John Holt!)

FunimationNow is Funimation’s streaming service. For $5.99 per month, people can watch ad-free anime movies and shows. There is also a $59.99 early plan and an optional free account that includes ads and limits the selection of media available to stream.

FunimationNow apps are immediately available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and both Android and Apple iOS devices.
