Back in March 2017, FDG Entertainment asked if people wanted a physical version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch. When the E3 2018 trailer was released, physical Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions were revealed, but now we know the Nintendo Switch will also be getting a limited launch edition. The announcement was made via Twitter.

People who place pre-orders for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Nintendo Switch physical copies will get this launch edition with two bonuses. One of the items is a 24-page, color instruction manual. The other is two sheets of stickers that show Jun in his various transformations. FDG Entertainment does not note a cut-off date for acquiring this version of the game, but says placing an order in the next few weeks should guarantee a copy for people.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Summer 2018. It will arrive on PCs in Winter 2018.
