Nintendo Switch Has Outsold Wii U’s Lifetime Sales In Japan According To Famitsu

According to Famitsu sales data, lifetime sales for Nintendo Switch has officially overtaken lifetime sales for Nintendo Wii U in Japan. [Thanks, Resetera!]

 

From the data, Nintendo Switch has sold 3,407,158 units, which has surpassed Nintendo Wii U’s 3,301,555 units sold in the 10 months that Nintendo Switch has been on the Japanese market.

 

Previously, Nintendo increased their sales forecast for Nintendo Switch sales to 16.7 million units by March 2018. Nintendo Switch released in March 2017.
