Nintendo Switch Reaches 19.67 Million Units In Worldwide Sales

Nintendo shared its updated worldwide sales figure for the Nintendo Switch console in the company’s latest financial results for the quarter ended June 2018 with a current total of 19.67 million units.

  • Hardware: 13.56 million units
  • Software: 102.28 million units

In the first quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2019, Nintendo has sold 1.88 million units worldwide. The company is aiming to reach over 20 million in the current fiscal year, so that means they have three more quarters to sell 18.12 million Nintendo Switch consoles. We’ll likely see these numbers surge in the later months of the year when Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu & Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate release.
