Nintendo Switch Sells 313,637 Units In Its First Week In Japan

Recommended Videos

We got our first Nintendo Switch sales numbers from Japan, and it’s from Famitsu who reports that the new console has sold 313,637 units in its opening week since its launch last Friday.

These numbers come from the week of February 27 through March 5, so that means it comes from three days of sales since its launch in Japan. Famitsu also added that the top-selling software is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which sold 193,060 copies during the same period, not counting digital sales.

Keep in mind that these are Famitsu’s numbers and we’ll likely see a different set from Media Create later this week when we get the weekly sales figures from the sales tracker.

Nintendo Switch is available worldwide.
