Nintendo Switch Slime Controller Launching Alongside Dragon Quest XI S

Square Enix has revealed a new controller that will be released alongside Dragon Quest XI S in Japan, and it looks pretty slick. A 10,778円 (~$100) Nintendo Switch Slime controller will be released in September 2019.

The Nintendo Switch Slime Controller is 145mm x 145mm x 124mm and comes with a cardboard treasure chest you can perch the slime on and a paper crown. It has a built-in, rechargeable battery and connects to the Switch over bluetooth. It uses an included USB cable to charge.

This is not the first time Square Enix has released a Slime-shaped controller. The PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 also received similar controllers, though the PlayStation 2 one looked like a Metal Slime.

Dragon Quest XI S will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 27, 2019.
