Game Compatibility

As for game compatibility, the Nintendo Switch Lite can play any Nintendo Switch title that supports handheld mode. However, for games that do not support handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect compatible controllers to the Nintendo Switch Lite to play the games.

Doug Bowser  said in an interview with CNET that players will get to transfer games between systems, but more on that will be shared later.

 

Nintendo Switch Lite releases on September 20, 2019. A Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition was also revealed and is set to release on November 8, 2019.
