Nintendo’s April Fools’ Joke Is Fire Emblem: Battle Of Revolution

Recommended Videos

Nintendo’s April Fools’ joke is now live in Japan. On the heels of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, it is “preparing” another Fire Emblem Gaiden-related game. Fire Emblem: Battle of Revolution has been “announced” for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch.

The official site for Fire Emblem: Battle of Revolution goes over the “game,” which would look like Fire Emblem Gaiden. It would star Valbar, Leon, and Kamui and take place during the Edo period. It would support amiibo, of course. It would allegedly launch on April 20, 2017, which is the day Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
