During the E3 2018 media briefing, a teaser trailer for Nioh 2 was released. Kou Shibusawa and Team Ninja are working on the sequel. Its tagline is, “Defy death. Death defies you.”

What is interesting is, at the end of the video, it appears our hero actually turns into an oni.

Nioh 2 is in development for the PlayStation 4.
