Nippon Ichi’s 3DS Card Game Lets Players Create Their Own Cards

Technically, Bikkuriman chocolate wafers come with stickers, but the game is similar to a trading card game… with foil angel and demon stickers. Nippon Ichi are making a Nintendo 3DS game based on Bikkuriman and added some of their Disgaea characters to it.

You play the game by combining kanji in the top left hand corner to create attacks. Players can also create their own Bikkuriman stickers. First take a photo with the Nintendo 3DS’ camera. Then assign a kanji character to the image… and ta-da a plush Prinny sticker is in your deck.

Bikkuriman Kanjyuku Haoh has a versus mode where two players can battle for sticker supremacy. Don’t have the game? Bikkuriman supports download play too. Since Cave Story 3D has been delayed Bikkuriman will be Nippon Ichi’s first 3DS game. It’s due for release on July 21. No word on a North American release.
