In Viral Survival you don’t blast viruses, you dodge them. Players move a DNA unit and collect friendly DNA units to make a happy little tail. The longer the tail, the more points you rack up. Touch an enemy virus and your toast.
There are other ways to play Viral Survival like Zoom 128 where you race to collect 128 DNA-ites while the camera zooms in on you. Oh, and if you have to shoot something Viral Survival has a shooter mode too.
A localized version of Viral Survival with worldwide leaderboards is slated for spring. Seems like this will be NIS America’s first WiiWare game since we haven’t heard anything about Full Blast Hitchhike, the zany WiiWare game where you flag down and ride dinosaurs.
