NIS America announced two new games as part of its PAX West 2026 reveals. It will release both The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster and the Astonishia Story remaster worldwide in 2027. Both will show up on the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and PC game. The former will launch in 2027. The latter will appear on February 11, 2027.
With Astonishia Story, we actually saw it worldwide once before. The PSP version of the game showed up everywhere following a PC release. (It even got a sequel.) It follows Lloyd and Ylenne as they work with their allies on a quest to save their world. The remaster will look better than the original and feature other adjustments. A Special Edition is also planned with a set of art cards, acrylic keychain, and soundtrack.
Meanwhile, The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster follows in the footsteps of NIS America games like The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, The Cruel King and the Great Hero, and A Rose in the Twilight. It follows Mono as she tries to save her sister from a disease that would turn her into a book. This means working with a monster called Mar and going through the Libratarium. Like other titles along these lines, it has a sketchy, monochromatic look.
Astonishia Story will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and PC on February 11, 2027. The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and PC in 2027.
