Nitroplus Gets Its Own Fighting Game With Characters Like Super Sonico

Arcana Heart and Aquapazza makers Examu are working on a new fighter that puts characters from Nitroplus’ franchises together in one, similar to Dengeki Bunko’s Fighting Climax. This week’s issue of Famitsu shares more on the game. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

Similar to Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, Nitroplus Blasters: Heroine Infinite Duel will have a “Select System” that allows you to choose partner characters that will help out with assist attacks.

The game will have more emphasis on these partner characters, as different combinations will lead to different fighting approaches. The game is being made with the idea of allowing you to freely pull off combos as you please.

So far the playable characters that have been confirmed are Ein from Phantom of Inferno, Mora from Vampirdzhija Vjedogonia, Muramasa from Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa, Nitroplus’ mascot character Super Sonico, and Saber from the Fate series.

As for support characters, we have Spica from Sumaga (Star Mine Girl), Natsumi Aihara from Hello World, and Dragon from Dra†KoI.

This won’t be the first time Nitroplus have had their characters featured in a fighter, as many of them were featured in a lesser-known PC fighter called Nitro Royale: Heroines Duel a few years ago.

Nitroplus Blasters: Heroine Infinite Duel will launch on arcades in Japan sometime in 2015.
