Joakim Sandberg (aka konjak) has announced that his 2008 PC action game Noitu Love: Devolution is heading to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in the first quarter of 2016.

The port has been handled by MP2 Games, who has previously handled ports for Freedom Planet, Not A Hero, The Escapists, and many others. “It was going to be on Wiiware a long time ago, but that developer relationship went south,” Sandberg revealed.

The Nintendo versions of Noitu Love: Devolution have touch/pointer controls to emulate the unique mouse controls of the original game on PC – you moved and attacked by clicking a point on the screen.

Here’s an overview of the game’s story:

“Play as Xoda Rap as she tries to save the city from the invading Darn army, who had previously been thought to be destroyed forever. But this time, they bring with them strange time-warping technology. WHO IS BEHIND THIS?”
