Resident Evil: Degeneration will infect DVD players at the end of this month and sometime in the future the CG flick is getting a video game tie-in on the most unlikely platform. Nokia partnered with Capcom to make a game partially based on the film for the N-Gage and they just released this teaser.

Wait a second this clip is just Resident Evil CG. Here’s what the Resident Evil: Degeneration game actually looks like.

Resident Evil: Degeneration will be in 3D and have two different play modes. Details are still scarce about how the game works, but it looks similar to the Japan-only Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition. The good news is you won’t need a taco shaped phone to play Resident Evil: Degeneration either. The N-Gage term now refers to a software service for existing Nokia phones. The bad news is Resident Evil: Degeneration is still only for mobile phones. Why would Capcom do this? One possibility is they’re using the engine from Resident Evil 4: Mobile Edition as the base for Resident Evil: Degeneration.
