North American eShop Update Adds Lightgun Virtual Console to Nintendo Wii U Library

Recommended Videos

Some NES Zapper have come to the Nintendo Wii U. In today’s eShop update, three classic titles have been added to the Virtual Console library, complete with Wii Remote support. People can now purchase The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Hogan’s Alley, or Wild Gunman for $4.99 each.

While The Adventures of Bayou Billy is both an action game and shooter, Hogan’s Alley and Wild Gunman are solely centered on shootouts. People will need to use a Nintendo Wii Remote to participate in first-person shooting segments in all three games.

Even though The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Hogan’s Alley, and Wild Gunman are only making their Nintendo Wii U debut in North America today, people in Europe have been able to buy all three Virtual Consoles for their systems since October and November, 2015.
