North America’s Play Nintendo Tour 2016 Begins June 17

Every year, Nintendo of America prepares a mall tour that gives people a chance to go to their nearest mall to play both old and new Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U games. This year’s Play Nintendo Tour 2016 will kick off on June 17, 2016, and run until September 5, 2016. It will come to 12 cities this year.

 

This year’s Play Nintendo Tour is focused on Nintendo 3DS games. There will be Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Kirby: Planet Robobot, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, Yo-Kai Watch, and Yoshi’s New Island areas and props, as well as Mario, Donkey Kong, and Kirby guest appearances. The official website offers a mockup of the Play Nintendo Tour 2016 layout.

 

Here’s the list of the Play Nintendo Tour 2016’s stops.

  • June 17-19, 2016: Westfield Culver City – Los Angeles, California
  • June 24-26, 2016: Arrowhead Towne Center – Glendale, Arizona
  • July 1-3, 2016: FlatIron Crossing – Broomfield, Colorado
  • July 8-10, 2016: Mall of America® – Bloomington, Minnesota
  • July 15-17, 2016: Bite of Seattle – Seattle, Washington
  • July 21-24, 2016: Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina – San Diego, California
  • July 29-31, 2016: Memorial City Mall – Houston, Texas
  • Aug. 5-7, 2016: Woodfield Mall – Schaumburg, Illinois
  • Aug. 12-14, 2016: Roosevelt Field – Garden City, New York
  • Aug. 19-21, 2016: South Shore Plaza – Braintree, Massachusetts
  • Aug. 26-28, 2016: Tysons Corner Center – Tysons Corner, Virginia
  • Sept. 2-5, 2016: North Point Mall – Alpharetta, Georgia

 

Nintendo has also prepared a list of Nintendo 3DS games that will be playable at the Play Nintendo Tour 2016.

All of the Play Nintendo Tour 2016 Nintendo 3DS games are immediately available, except for Kirby: Planet Robobot. It will be released on June 10, 2016.
