The manga Nue’s Exorcist, which has been running in Shonen Jump since March 2023, is getting an anime adaptation from Studio Hibari. It will air in Japan in Summer 2027, and there’s no worldwide streaming home confirmed just yet. However, we do know three of the Nue’s Exorcist Japanese voice actors for characters and a first teaser appeared on YouTube.
In the series, high schooler Gakuro Yajima can see spirits and happens to find Nue trapped there. With her help, he’s able to save a friend and himself, becoming an exorcist using her power. His classmate Kazusa Suo possesses similar abilities and works alongside him to protect people at their school from the supernatural. Gakuro will be voiced by Kaito Miura, Saori Onishi will play Nue, and Sayumi Suzushiro was cast as Kazusa.
Here’s the first Nue’s Exorcist teaser trailer that shows Gakuro, Nue, and Kazusa.
