Octopath Traveler may be something of a spiritual successor to the Bravely series, but it is going to get really cozy with Final Fantasy soon. An Octopath Traveler Crossing Paths event has been revealed for Final Fantasy Record Keeper. On September 12, 2018, it will begin in the game. This was revealed in an official producer diary, with confirmation that the event begins a bit earlier in the worldwide version of the game than the Japanese one.

When the Octopath Traveler Crossing Paths event begins, people can explore a dungeon in Final Fantasy Record Keeper based on the game. In the image hyping it up, Gaston and Helgenish are shown. This is because Primrose and Olberic are the two focus characters for this event. Beating certain dungeons gets you Octopath Traveler Music Records. Five star equipment will also be given away as login bonuses.

If you want to watch it for yourself, the lead up to the announcement begins at the fourteen minute, fifty second point in the video below. English subtitles are available. Some interesting information about Final Fantasy Record Keeper events is revealed, such as planning for this Octopath Traveler event began in May 2018.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Octopath Traveler is available for the Nintendo Switch.
