Ogre Battle Composer Making Music For Mistwalker’s Blade Guardian

Mistwalker lined up Hitoshi Sakimoto to make music the for Blade Guardian. Sakimoto created the soundtrack for strategy RPGs like Tactics Ogre, Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics, and more recently Valkyria Chronicles. Blade Guardian will be a bit different for him since this game is a real defense game.

The twist in Blade Guardian is you can move units called Blades by tilting your iPhone. The game has three types of movable Blade units and a nightmare mode after you clear the game once.

Blade Guardian will cost $0.99 when it launches on October 1.
