Ogre Battle, Mega Man III Bound For Japan’s Virtual Console

This article is over 15 years old and may contain outdated information

November is another slow month for the Virtual Console in Japan. Fortunately, next month has a few quality games like Mega Man III and Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. The expensive on eBay Super Nintendo game will be released in Japan for a very reasonable 800 Wii Points ($8). Don’t be too envious. Square Enix will probably release Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen in North America too since they spent money on registering a trademark for the Ogre Battle name in North America. It’s only a matter of time until that and the Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 come here. You’ll probably want to skip the Master System version unless you have a morbid curiosity for all things Sonic.
