Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy Creative Producer & Character Designer Tetsuya Nomura posted a message to Dissidia fans. The Final Fantasy fighter prequel is now in the final stages of development. Nomura often hears that people continue to play Dissidia: Final Fantasy because of this he was able to make another game.
New character announcements are coming plus details about "tuning" for characters who were in Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Dissidia 012[duodecim] takes place before the story of Dissidia: Final Fantasy so the returning cast (from future events) had more tricks in the past, apparently.
Nomura also mentions there will be further announcements about new systems and other elements for Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy. One change Square Enix announced prior to Tokyo Game Show was the assist system where players can call out a partner character for an attack.
