Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is one of the highlights on Japan’s release schedule next week and Gust has another look at the sixteenth game in the Atelier series. Like Atelier Escha & Logy, Atelier Shallie has two protagonists Shallotte who is a Wilbell’s student and Shallistera, your typical Atelier heroine.
One of the biggest changes is the Life Task system which adjusts objectives depending on how you play the game. Completing Life Tasks boosts your motivation meter and the more motivation you have the more items you can harvest on the field. Shallotte and Shallistera have different harvesting abilities. Shallotte can catch fish while Shallistera has a dowsing ability.
Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea has not been announced for the West, but Koei Tecmo games has been releasing all of the Atelier games so far so we’ll probably see this game in English next year.
