This upcoming One Piece game takes the pirates and throws them in a battle royale. One Piece: Gigant Battle uses sprites and has up to four fighters on a screen. Looks similar to Jump Ultimate Stars, huh? That’s probably because Ganbarion, the developer of the Japan-only manga mashup fighter, is also behind One Piece: Gigant Battle.

Japan gets One Piece: Gigant Battle sometime this fall. Plans for other regions have not been announced, but that doesn’t mean it won’t head overseas. Namco Bandai passed on publishing One Piece Unlimited Cruise in North America, but both Wii games were released in Europe.
