We already know the One Piece Odyssey demo is on the way, thanks to a Jump Festa 2023 reveal. However, the latest explains more about the upcoming RPG. Producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki appeared in a video to explain what people can expect from the experience, which covers the early hours of the game.

Tsuzuki first clarified its length. Depending on what you do and your pace, it will likely be a 1-2 hour experience. The demo picks up from the beginning of One Piece Odyssey, and there are no “major differences.” People will see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates land on Waford and meet original characters Adio and Lim. However, people won’t get to see the Alabasta or Water Seven memory worlds. The goal is to offer a tutorial experience and sample of the pace. He also confirmed you can take saves from the demo and use them in the full game again. Golden Jelly will be the bonus for playing the demo.

The One Piece Odyssey release date is January 13, 2023, and the demo will appear on January 10, 2023. The full game will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
