One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is adding new characters along with some that were in past games but not playable. Bandai Namco’s latest batch of videos for the game shows more on Magellan, Gekko Moriah, Perona, Brook, and Nico Robin.
If you remember what happened to Luffy after his fight against Impel Down’s now-vice warden Magellan, you might also remember some of his Doku Doku no Mi abilities, which he uses in Pirate Warriors 3, including his Hydra form.
Gekko Moriah is known for his ability to steal shadows using his Kage Kage no Mi, but the former Shichibukai can also fight using his huge body, which he uses to stop around on enemies, along with some mobile shadow abilities.
The Straw Hat Pirates’ archaeologist Nico Robin also shows off some of her action, using her Hana Hana no Mi. As shown in the video, a lot of her Fleur moves can take out many enemies, and she also has some fun specials, like the one shown at the end of the video.
Brook is known for his music and swordsmanship, which he combines together in his fighting style for Pirate Warriors 3. He’s a speedy and versatile character. He’s also quite fun watch… if only he had eyes to see himself in action.
The “Ghost Princess” Perona isn’t exactly known for fighting, but she sure knows how to destroy others with emotional damage by draining their will using ghosts conjured by her Horo Horo no Mi abilities. She can do that, and actual physical attacks by spawning all kinds of ghosts in the game.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will release this summer for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. The game launches earlier in Japan, on March 26, 2015. The game also adds new treasure events and more cooperative moves, which you can check out, here.
