The To the Moon Switch version will be available physically, thanks to Limited Run Games. The company took to Twitter to announce two physical editions. The standard and limited deluxe releases’ orders will open on February 12, 2021. As this isn’t a limited run, you’ll have four weeks to get them.
The standard version is relatively basic. You get a copy of To the Moon on a cartridge and in a box. A price wasn’t mentioned, but standard versions of Limited Run Games titles tend to be around $29.99 to $34.99.
The To the Moon Switch Limited Deluxe edition is more lavish, actually limited, and involves items that call back to in-game memories. For $64.99, people get a copy of the game, a soundtrack CD, a reversible poster, and a number of items that refer to Johnny and River. For example, you can get the platypus stuffed animal Johnny won and gave to River, the origami rabbit memento, and pins of Johnny and River.
To the Moon is available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. Imposter Factory, the third entry in the series that also includes Finding Paradise, will launch in 2021. Orders for the To the Moon Switch physical copies will be open February 12, 2021 through March 12, 2021.
