Sonic Mania is set to release for a handful of platforms next month. To celebrate the occasion, the original designer for Sonic the Hedgehog, Naoto Ohshima, created the above artwork featuring Sonic and Tails, despite no longer working for Sega.
Additionally,Ohshima took to Twitter to express how grateful he is for those who support Sonic Mania.

Sonic Mania will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on August 15th.
