Eidos has Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary in the works, a remake of the first Tomb Raider game with the engine from Tomb Raider: Legend. A new can of paint on Tomb Raider might get some attention, but 3D action games have come far from Tomb Raider’s simple set up. Also it is unknown if Tomb Raider: Anniversary will add in the extra levels from Tomb Raider Gold or any other new missions to bring something new to the ten year old title. Tomb Raider Anniversary is set for a 2007 release, but only for “current” gen consoles (PS2 and PSP) and the PC.
