Overwatch Rise And Shine Video Explores Mei’s Origins

Blizzard has released a new Overwatch animated feature. This one focuses on Mei. She’s the heroine who was stationed at Watchpoint: Antarctica, needed to enter cryostasis to wait for a rescue, but then ended up waking up nine years later. In “Rise and Shine,” it explores what happened immediately after she woke up.

 

Even though “Rise and Shine” is dealing with a rather serious and life-threatening situation, it still has some of the lighthearted moments we have come to expect from Overwatch shorts. It also does a good job of highlighting Mei’s determination, intelligence, and resourcefulness.

 

 

Overwatch is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
