Pocketpair confirmed Palworld players will see a Halloween 2025 update as part of a patch launching on October 23, 2025. That will bring the game up to 0.6.8. The Palworld logo for that version also features the NPC Zoe Rayne and the Pal Depresso.
The announcement didn’t explain everything about the Palworld Halloween 2025 event, aside from highlighting Zoe and Depresso. In the case of the NPC, it seems the Rayne Syndicate head will be dressed in a costume for the season. It looks like it is a witch outfit, complete with a hat that still has cat ears similar to her normal hat. As for Depresso, it seems like a lot of people decided to dress up like that Pal for the holiday.
This is the first “big” sort of Palworld patch we’ve see that also included an update with new content. That’s because Pocketpair is now focused on preparing for 1.0. It announced that ahead of the title exiting early access, it will focus on fixing bugs and other issues instead of new versions with a lot of additions. One of the exceptions will be a planned Winter 2025 patch.
Palworld is in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, the Halloween 2025 update debuts on October 23, 2025, and the release date for the 1.0 version will fall in 2026.
