Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Shhwonk Fortress Quiz Answers

One of the early challenges in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a test of knowledge that requires you to provide answers to the Shhwonk Fortress 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz. However, the one in the remake is slightly different than the original.

What are the answers to the Shhwonk Fortress 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door?

In order to get the Sun and Moon Stones to unlock the pipe to Hooktail’s Castle and a Crystal Star in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, you need to complete a quiz. If you get the answers correct, you can enter the fortress’ basement and claim the stones for the puzzle. All of the questions have to do with things or people you encountered in Rogueport and Petalburg.

These questions should look familiar if you played the RPG before. However, I encountered one different quiz question and answer during the  Shhwonk Fortress 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz. In the original GameCube game, one question asked how much you’d pay for a Fire Flower and Mr. Softener at Petelburg. The answer back then was 16 coins. Now it asks the cost of a Fire Flower and Mushroom, which is 12 coins.

Here’s the full list of questions and answers I saw:

  1. What’s hidden in Shhwonk Fortress? Sun and Moon Stones.
  2. What do one Mushroom and one Fire Flower cost at the shop in Petalburg? 12 Coins.
  3. What is the name of the mayor of Petalburg? Kroop.
  4. Where is the Crystal Star? Hooktail Castle.
  5. How can one get from Rogueport to Petal Meadows? Go through a Pipe.

Give the correct answers to those five questions, and you can get the Sun and Moon Stones and head to Hooktail’s place.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is available for the Nintendo Switch. It originally appeared on the GameCube.
