The Nintendo 3DS eShop is getting an escape-the-room game with visual novel elements next week. Circle Entertainment has been preparing an English release of Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas. Today, the publisher released the first English trailer for the game.
In Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas, players follow Hitomi Akeneno. She and her friend, Chisono, are invited to take a cruise on the Idinaloq. However, things go terribly wrong when there’s an unexplained explosion leaves people trapped. Fortunately, Hitomi has telepathic and telekinectic abilities that will help her solve puzzles and find a way out.
Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas will be available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop on March 3, 2016 in North America and Europe. It will be Circle Entertainment’s second visual novel game. The first was Petit Novel Series: Harvest December, which was released on December 10, 2015.
