PC Modders Add A First-Person Mode To Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Recommended Videos

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes now has a first-person mode due to the work of PC modders.

Yep, the “FPS Mod” by modder Pao lets you see through the eyes of Big Boss the entire time (and not just when aiming down iron sights) as you sneak and shoot your way around Camp Omega.

As to be expected, the mod isn’t perfect – at least not yet – as objects and Snake’s body will disappear at times, especially when crawling, and the pistol animations aren’t up to scratch. But, for the most part, it seems to be a solid step into the first-person perspective.

Obviously, do be careful if you intend to install and use the mod with Ground Zeroes so as to not screw up the game’s files. You can download Pao’s FPS Mod on Nexus Mods.
