Here’s the trailer that looks at the upcoming DLC. It also shows the first story-based expansion in wave 4, which brings back past Xenoblade Chronicles characters.

Both waves 1 and 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC are available ahead of wave 3. The first add-on appeared when the game launched. It added items to use in-game, with some being accessories to help characters and the others being 10 Gold Nopon Coins and 30 Silver ones. People also got new color options for existing costumes. Wave 2 brought Ino as a new character and her Noponic Champion Defender class for characters. That also brought a Challenge Battle mode and character swimsuit costumes with it.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is available for the Nintendo Switch on February 15, 2023.
