As previously detailed, Penguin Wars is a simple game that has the objective of trying to get as many of the 10 balls on the field to land on the opponent’s side. You win by either getting all 10 balls on the opponent’s side or by having the most on their side when time runs out.

While hitting balls on the other side is the main objective, hitting the other player with the ball is equally important, as it knocks them down for a short period of time. The game lets you choose out of five animals: cow, rabbit, bat, rat, and penguin. Each with its own characteristics, for example, the rat has the best speed but low power, the cow has low speed but the best recovery speed after getting hit.

The Nintendo Switch remake keeps the base game intact while adding numerous new elements. It’ll feature a mode that focuses more on hitting the other player, 1v1, 2v2, and special rules such as replacing balls with bombs.

The OST will also be done by various artists from around the world and Japan whoa are active in the game music and club scene. The game will also include tracks such as “Modern Remake Version” of the original songs, and more.
