Perhaps, Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman Will Be A Hit On PSN

image Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman: What Did I Do to Deserve This? will only be released as a downloadable PSP game. Nao Zook, Marketing Coordinator, explained on the PlayStation Blog the reason behind the decision was the demo was well received. How popular was it?

Speaking with a representative from NIS America I learned over 150,000 people downloaded it. Sure, that’s not a million, but for a niche dungeon managing game that’s pretty good. Actually, that’s superb.

Releasing Badman over PlayStation Network mitigates risk, which could make it easier for the quirky game to be successful in North America. And if Badman is a hit there’s a better chance we’ll get the sequel too.

In case anyone was concerned about Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days going download only, I confirmed with NIS America that Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days will be a retail PSP title.

Here’s a look at the third stage in Badman, which features heroes Shota and Sukisuki.
