Alphendi Layton is an investigator at Scotland Yard who solves murder mysteries with his partner Lucy Creila. The game is a touch screen adventure title, currently only announced for Japan.
However, it appears Level-5 is preparing the title for an overseas release since they filed a trademark for Layton Brothers: Mystery Room in the USA. Perhaps, this will be a project led by Level-5’s North American office?
