Back in April 2025, a Persona 3 Reload crossover with Makoto Yuki, the protagonist of that game, and a tie-in event appeared in the Asian release of Persona 5: The Phantom X. Now the teaser trailers for that collaboration appeared on the Japanese and English social media accounts, suggesting a worldwide release is coming soon.

Here’s the teaser. It features the Dark Hour moon from Persona 3 Reload and a voice saying, “Good to see you again. Looking forward to working with you.”

Since this event did already run in China, we know what to expect. The event allowed Persona 5: The Phantom X players to explore a version of Tartarus based on Persona 3 Reload and pull on the gacha banner for protagonist Makoto Yuki. That character has Orpheus as his Persona for this appearance. He’s a five-star unit who deals fire damage. (As such, he’s also resistant against it.) He’s an Assassin role unit, which means he’s designed to be a DPS who hits one enemy at a time. He also apparently has Theurgy, like in the original game.

Gematsu, in the past, had uploaded the original Persona 5: The Phantom X trailer for the Persona 3 Reload event to YouTube.

Most recently, the 4.0 update appeared for Persona 5: The Phantom X. That added Phantom Thief Luce and Phantom Idol Ange, as well as new storylines and events.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is on the PC and mobile devices. Its worldwide versions will get the Persona 3 Reload crossover events in the future. Persona 3 Reload is on the Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
