Persona 3 Reload Remake Officially Revealed at Xbox Games Showcase

Back when Atlus inadvertently shared the Persona 3 Reload remake trailer on Instagram early, it featured Xbox branding. Now during the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, it was officially confirmed. The game will head to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in early 2024. It will also be a “first on Xbox Game Pass” game, meaning subscribers will be access it day one on the subscription service. The trailer first begins with Aegis on a beach. She’s looking out over the water, then turns to look at the player. After that, we see Makoto running through the first floor of Gekkoukan High School. (Makoto is often a default name for the male protagonist in this entry.) It seems that footage is taken from early in the story, as he’s heading to the faculty office. This seemed confirmed by the following segments, where we see him introduced to Junpei for the first time. There’s also later a cooking segment with Yukari, and Makoto runs around Paulownia Mall. It also shows how a social link interaction with someone outside SEES looks, as Makoto eats with Kenji. The new shop UI is shown while visiting the Police Station for weapons. A little of Tartarus and the battle system appears as well.
